I take your health very seriously! Rest assured that, as your chiropractor, I will exhaust all means available to help you achieve your goals.

Q: What is chiropractic for?
A: Chiropractic is a treatment discipline that emphasizes care of the spinal column. It seeks to restore movement and proper alignment so that the body's muscles, joints and nerves work as designed.

Q: Does it hurt?
A: No. Chiropractic doctors are trained to properly diagnose conditions and use techniques that minimize pain. For example, if your pain is acute, your first visit may include ice, muscle stim, and light force adjustments.

Q: Will my insurance cover it?
A: Many PPO plans have chiropractic coverage. Let us check for you. In addition, Workers Comp and Auto Insurance can cover chiropractic care, if the condition was caused by work or car crash.

Chiropractic is the world's largest health care discipline after allopathic medicine. Millions of people every day, young and senior, utilize chiropractic treatment to help cure or alleviate common musculoskeletal conditions such as neck and back pain, extremity pain, and tension headaches.

You will be asked to fill out a patient history form and describe in detail the nature of your complaint. An orthopedic and neurological exam will be conducted afterwards. Depending on the doctor's assessment, you may be referred for an X-ray, MRI, or even a blood test. In most cases, an initial treatment will be given. A follow up appointment will then be scheduled to measure your response to treatment.
Chiropractic adjustments are precise, gentle maneuvers done by hand to restore proper movement to one or several vertebrae. Joint mobilization is similar, but is done slower. Therapeutic massage may be done before or after these procedures to address surrounding soft tissues.
Physiotherapy may be done in conjunction with the above manual techniques to help reduce pain, swelling, and muscle spasm. This can include ice and heat, low-level laser, therapeutic light, and advanced neuromuscular electric stimulation. Exercise rehabilitation, supplement prescription, orthopedic supports, and home therapy may also be a part of your treatment plan.
Many patients come to see a chiropractor after putting up with their pain or discomfort for a considerable time. As a patient of my practice, I will attempt to get to the root of your problem. Besides highly specific treatment, I will determine if certain lifestyle factors can be modified so that your body can heal itself, naturally, without harmful drugs or dangerous surgery.
